The product was exactly what I needed for my drainage project. Best of all it was shipped within hours and arrived ahead of schedule.
Them don’t answer there emails. It’s the only way to reach them. They sent me some damaged product and said they would replace it. Now they won’t answer there emails to let me know what is happening.
The 6oz Geo-tex fabric worked to create drainage sleeves for a short retaining wall. We cut 2ft sections of the 3ft wide non-woven fabric. These were sewn together using a flat felled seam technique to make a 6ft x 2ft piece. These were then sewn length-wise to make a tube with about 7in diameter. We gathered the one ends using nylon coated stainless steel wire, and then secured the gather using stainless steel hose clamps. After filling with washed crushed mountain granite, we secured the other end in the same fashion. For a 25ft wall, we needed four sleeves placed along the bottom row of mortared retaining wall blocks to allow seepage to escape via the weep holes.
I used the landscape staples to secure the landscape fabric in my front and back yards. These big long staples work great. The fabric can stay in its place. I haven’t had them long enough to see if they last. The product description says they are made from heavy-duty galvanized steel, but they didn’t advertise anti-rust like other products. Anyway, they probably will last longer than the fabric.
